ICT might be important to become an architect, because:It helps with your ICT drawing skills. It is much easier to get a job if you have a qualification in ICT.ICT could help to solve some problems. But anyway I heard that if you haven't got a qualification in ICT in your high school, some universities might offer courses which can help you more.In a few weeks I will have to choose my GCSE subjects, and I want to be an architect is well, but I'm not sure if I'm going to choose ICT.The subject that you need for architecture are:History or geographyGraphicsArtYou might choose a language if you like, it would help!

How much money do architects make an hour?

I work in Best Buy's computer department and i sold a laptop to a very nice gentlemen who turned out to be an architect/civil engineer. I asked him the same question, his answer was "at most, about $150 an hour but on average around $100 an hour and I work from 40 to 60 hours a week without extra overtime pay." For many other architects it may be different but i thougt i would share with you what i learned today. -Gabe I am an architect, and hourly rates and salaries vary widely. Right out of college, maybe $15/hr. After 10 years, you might be around $30/hour. The previous answer, of $150/hour, seems very very high to me unless you are a partner in a large firm. Even $100/hour is high...that translates to $200,000 per year, which is way above average. Now, that is how much an architect might MAKE in per hour. If you mean "how much does an architect CHARGE FOR an hour", then the $100-$150 is realistic. Overhead and liability insurance is high, so architects charge 2x-3x what they make.
