A positive effect would be that volcanic soil is very good for planting crops and farming. Another positive effect would be that they create new land for civilizations. Pioneer species, such as moss and lichen, could start an ecosystem from the volcanic soil.

they create new land and the lava and moltan rock will pretty much make the rocks that you see today on the ground and volcanoes can also make mountain ranges to if there force isactly accurate.
