Technically, the water you drink was also the dinosaur's urine as well as many other things before going into your body. The only way this all fits together is by knowing that matter doesn't "go away" as atoms 'recycle' so to speak. I find it hard to believe myself, but I have learned that atoms simply change bonds to other atoms to create new/different molecules. In one way it makes sense, but then when you learn how energy is made, it gets fuzzy to me. So I will only say that science has stood by the theory that matter (atoms) does not disappear, it only gets transformed over and over again. Only new matter (from space) collects as it contacts earth.

It's not only possible, it's a sure thing. You see, water is indestructible. It can be in rivers, or icebergs, or clouds, or in the bodies of plants and animals and even a little bit trapped for a time in rocks, but its molecule remain the molecules of water.

All the water on Earth (a little bit of "new" water is brought in by comets, and a little bit escapes into space and the top of the atmosphere) is RECYCLED endlessly. In fact, we call it the "Water Cycle."

Because molecules are very small, and there are lots of them, they get all mixed up over and over, so you may be very sure that SOME of the water molecules in your last drink also spent some time in the tissues of a dinosaur.

The chances are that the water you drank and bathed in this morning were not the exact same water molecules consumed by dinosaurs. There are many organic and inorganic chemical reactions that consume or create water. Choose any atom from a dinosaur's drink, follow its history to now and you will find that the atom has been part of many molecules that were not water.

The water cycle which is a cycle of processing water giving our planet an unlimited amount of water. Even in the longest period of time water is still being used.

You can be drinking the same water as dinosaurs because when they drank it it came out as pee and that found its way to a body of water which evaporated and went through the water cycle.
