• Changing your pillowcases regularly and washing your face and hydrating it afterwards are both very good ways to help stop spreading the acne bacteria.
• For actual remedies, my best answer is to speak with your doctor. I had really bad acne once until my doctor prescribed some strong acne medicine that you can only get through the pharmacy. Go see you doctor, and ask about a product called clindoxyl gel. This is the stuff I used, and I saw results within 3 weeks, and in two months my skin was perfectly cleared up.

• There are also some old tricks to help get rid, or lessen the redness, of general pimples:

  - moisturize your face with the egg yolk and white, separately.

  - use toothpaste on just the pimple to reduce it.

  - garlic juice works well on killing the bacteria, but make sure it doesn't touch the surrounding skin! And I highly recommend Clean and Clear acne cleanser.

• A dairy-free diet (no dairy products whatsoever). Read the 'Dietary Cure For Acne' by Professor Loren Cordain (you can buy it or borrow it from your local library). Generally acne is gotten rid of by using acne face washes and lotions. You can go to a dermatologist who will help you find the best ones for your skin. They can prescribe stronger face washes than you can buy at the store.
