The 1.6 GHz is the speed at which the processor runs at. GHz is said as gigahertz. A 1.6Ghz means that your CPU does 1.6 billion cycles per second. Now itch cycle something is executed, most likely something important and the more cycles the CPU can do per second the faster it is and this is one of the ways to determine's how power full it is.
It's not. GHz and GB measure totally different things.

Hertz as in GHZ, is a rate-of-change. Gigabytes is a measure of storage volume. Pretty much like gallons. They don't compare.
One gigabyte (gb) is equal to 1024 megabytes (mb).
Gb is a measure of capacity, GHz is a measure of speed. The two cannot be directly compared.
How much is MB 4096000 in bits
Approximately 0.407 GB
2973.49 Mb = 2.9038 Gb, approx.
101283 kilobyte (KB) is equal to 0.09659 gigabyte (GB). Remember 1024 kilobyte (KB) is equal to 1 megabyte (MB) and 1024 megabyte (MB) is equal to 1 gigabyte (GB)
1024 MB equal to 1 GB
1 Gigabyte is equal to 1024 Megabytes that is usually rounded off to 1000 Megabytes. As such, 2.0 GB is equal to 2000 MB.
1.5 million
0.00001 Gigabytes or 0.00668 Megabytes or 7004.16 Bytes
1 GB is equal to 0.0009765625 TB
