I guess there's not much difference between you and me. I have a Cyndaquil and a Pikachu. Get lots of X-eye and sleep seeds. Throw them at Dialga and keep hitting it with your most powerful moves. I only needed a few oran berries and one x-eye seed on my second time, but I recommend a lots of reviver seeds as well.

If you mean Explorers of Time/Darkness, go to Temporal Tower, beat Dialga. Then go back and fight it again. Beat it. And tell it to join you. Well yeah pretty much what he said but I would just like to add one thing: No matter what-even if you have the worst luck ever-Dialga will join your team since it is one of those Pokemon that have a 100% recruit rate Have Fun! ;P

Dialga is hard, but catchy music. Now, Dialga's weaknesses are Ground, Dragon, Fire, Fighting, and Ice. I'd rather use those moves. But since you are an eevee and your partner is a shinx, it'll be a little hard. X-Eye seeds do good but Dialga will move, the paralyze seed will do good (Your Shinx can maybe handle that), as you said sleep seeds are a good idea too. The Doom seed is the BEST seed for defeating a strong Pokemon. Dialga's level will go DOWN. So try to use as much items as possible.

Bring lots of reviver seeds and sleep seeds. Also bring a stun seed to use at the beginning of battle so you can get some time to walk up to him. Stun seeds until opponent is attacked. I also need help on beating dialga 4 the second time to get him on my team, I swear he gets a lot stronger. ____________________________________ My strategy is: Bring lots of sleep seeds, stun seeds, etc. Throw a sleep seed/stun seed at Dialga. Go as far down the battle field as you can. Spawn Dialga with long-range attacks such as Flamethrower and Razor Leaf. He won't use Roar Of Time until he's closer. When he gets too close, repeat except this time going up the battle field.
