How much Sudafed does it take to overdose?

Yesterday I took 450mg of pseudoephedrine along with 150mg of codeine in a 100 ml cough mixture to get "high". I'm fine today.

i took the recommended dose of 2 pills and had an overdose reaction. it depends on your sensitivity to medication, i guess.

From what I understand, ephedrine as well as psudoephedrine aren't exactly "toxic"... The reason people have died while taking it is because (from what I understand ((Yes, lots of this.)) it is a pretty primitive stimulant, for lack of better words. That being said; it is extremely rough on your body and has been known to cause heart attacks in fairly healthy individuals who take a large amount and engage in strenuous activities. I used to self medicate my ADD using Suda, or 'Feds, or reds haha... So... You should take like 300mg and tell us how it works out (death, I mean).

what cough syrup are you looking at?

some are just for coughs: Dextromethorphan Hbr should be the only active ingredient in it.

is it for coughs and cold? cough and flu? cough and congestion? those preparations are much more toxic, what with the added acetaminophen, guaifenesin, etc:

looking to trip? a syrup with dxmhbr in it ONLY is not likely to kill you, unless you have no taste buds and the menthol stench doesn't induce projectile vomiting on it's own.

speaking from experience... 8oz won't kill you. you'll be on another planet for about 8 hours, but you won't die.

your question confuses me. are you looking to od on cough syrup? are you looking to NOT od on cough syrup? are you hoping someone else will od on cough syrup? hmm..

I'm not to familiar with nyquil, but like all medication it will say the dosage instructions somewhere on the box.
