You need to be more specific when asking about coins. "gold army coin" could refer to any one of hundreds of coins.

You're probably referring to a coin known as a "challenge coin". If it is a challenge coin, chances are it's only gold-plated - not solid gold; and is probably worth $5 or less.

To figure out how much it's worth, search Ebay for something specific about the coin. For instance if the coin says "2nd Infantry Division" or "Lead The Way" or anything that is more specific than "army" on it, then search for that. Keep looking until you find an Ebay auction that has a picture of the same coin, and the price on that auction is how much the coin is worth.

Side note: I can't believe the stupid questions people post on here. Why would you post on here and have to wait potentially weeks for an answer, when you could just use four or five brain cells worth of intelligence to find out how much it's worth by yourself?
