It depends on where they work. In the USA for example, working in Industry is pretty much 9-5 (with additional hours from time to time); in academia is can be 9-5 or any other hours as dictated by teaching assignments, etc., and grant writing will add significant hours to the week. Also, working in government can be 9-5 with additional hours from time to time. In summary, it depends on the demands placed on you, if you have a BS., MS or PhD and many other factors. Some I know work 40 hours a week, and others work 80 hours a week.
it is equal to 3 days and 22 hours
Miles is distance and hours is time, so they cannot be compared.

UK law for commercial drivers. You must take a 45 minute break after 4 1/2 hours driving/working time
The European working time began in 2003. This limits weekly working hours, which must not exceed 48 hours on average, including overtime.
7:30 to 3:30 is eight hours, no matter how long your lunch break is. If you were working all of your non-lunch time, that's 7 and 1/2 hours.
you could read it in your free time at lunch or coffee break, just not during working hours , these are the hours you are getting paid to work , not to read the bible or anything else.

37.5 hours assuming 8 hour day a 10 minute paid break each 4 hour period close to midpoint of the 4 hours' half-hour unpaid lunch break each day and 5 days a week. So like if you punch in at 9 and out at 12:30 back in at 1 then go home at 5 you would be working a full-time week.
4.95 hours
depends on how many hours you're working... full time at 40 hours for 52 weeks is about $52,000... less holidays.
It's salary plus bonuses and usually they work between 45-50 "scheduled hours" a week but it's really about 50-60 hours they are in the store working at no extra pay. They get paid decent but if you break down the total physical hours they are working in the store with how much they bring home it ends up being less than $9/hr. They deserve more for all the junk they have to deal with and time they've committed to the store.
