Correct. In other words, nothing in this world is free. Say if you were taken to lunch by your boss, and he paid then even though you had a free lunch, the meal still cost money.
$5.40 is how much Tim paid. Bob paid $2.40
Because teachers think that reccess and lunch count. also, they want to be able to teach as much as possible, so they get paid as much as they should
I was in high school then and we paid .25 a gallon. My girlfriend had VW Beatle and we would pool the change from our lunch money to help her pay for gas.
Public schools in Polands are free. Private schools in Poland are paid.
It relates to the notion that government aid programs (like those that provide free food) are paid for by taxpayers.
Not much
Someone must always pay for lunch through labor, money, or resources. Even if a tree drops a fruit it must've used it's resources of minerals pulled from the ground to create the fruit and therefor the tree has paid the price of your lunch. Even if you chose to eat dirt, that dirt is partially made from the decomposition of various creatures or plants that paid the "ultimate price" to become that dirt. Even if you are taking it as potentially free from only your personal perspective and someone else has paid for your lunch, then you must still expend the energy required to transfer the food to your mouth , chew it, swallow it, and then digest it. So, no. No lunch is ever free. Not ever......ever......ever...........ever............(echoes continue and maniacal laughter begins)
You bet it does! There is no such thing as a free lunch. All things have to be paid for by some one some time.
My Balls
