While you will certainly loose weight, once you start eating again, you will gain weight more rapidly than before and while eating much fewer calories. It can also create long term health problems, some that cannot be reversed. Starving yourself is not a good idea. It took you quite a bit of time to put the fat ON, the only way to loose the weight is much the same. Expect to take a little time and you'll be much more healthy.
Each body and person is different, as is how long it would take to lose 60 pounds by starving yourself. However, this should never be used as a weight loss method. It is unhealthy, and diet and exercise are much better options.

Not usually, no.
Starving yourself with just drinking water won't make you lose a lot of weight. Just loosen your muscles (turning them into fat!). Anyways, but I'm not a doctor... so I'm not sure. You might loose a few pounds!
Starving is not good for your body, it deprives yourself of the energy and nutrients you need to remain healthy and well.
You binge on high-calorie high-fat foods like chocolate cake and rich desserts. That's why starving yourself doesn't work usually.
The body can't survive too long without food or water. Starving yourself will only cause malnourishment, fatigue, dizziness, fainting spells, weakness and that's not even half of it. If you want to loose weight, starving yourself won't work. If you starve yourself for a week and then eat again, the body will hold onto that food, not knowing when it will get fed again and it will be even harder to burn that off.
