The price range for a Polaris snowmobile cover tend to vary depending on the quality that you are looking for. There are some covers that average around $70 but have found others in the range of $185. With the above stated prices the average would be around $127 for a cover.
Ski-doos are usually more performance sleds, they are usually the first to try out new designs and that is why their snowmobiles look so weird compared to the standard design that pretty much all polaris snowmobiles look like. That being said, polaris are usually more reliable, and are much easier to find parts for. The standard polaris design that has been in place since like 1996 works fairly well and is good for a nice trail snowmobile. I myself prefer polaris over ski-doo because of the reliability issue. The newer ones may be better, i cannot say because I have never ridden one newer than 2000.
The older Polaris ProX snowmobile is quite a reliable machine, punching in at around $1,300 for a good condition, used 2003 model. There seems to be a shortage of many newer models.
Which one? most are not much more than removing a bolt or two. All but one will slide off without much effort. Let me know if you need more help.
Approximately 2 quarts of oil are needed to change the oil of a Polaris Outlaw 500 ATV. Slightly more oil is needed if the filter is changed.
