Temperature shifts are more casual -- taking hours or days, not seconds. You may be thinking of wind chill, which can fall quite rapidly given gusts of wind.
It is about 100 degrees Colder Than texas!
too stupid to insult
Alaska. Antarctica is about 30 degrees F colder than its northern polar counterparts. Alaska is not as far north as Antarctica is south, so it is clearly much warmer than Antarctica.
The continent of Antarctica is in the Antarctic, storing 90% of the earth's store of ice. It is about 30 degrees F colder in Antarctica than in the open water of the Arctic ocean. Antarctica is a continent surrounded by the Southern Ocean. The Arctic is open water -- the Arctic ocean -- surrounded by land.
Just like most other organisms! Being eaten, changes in temperature such as warmer (especially) or sometimes colder (but you don't get much colder than Antarctica!), hunger etc. all the rest of it.
Yes Canada and Russia are much colder than the UK but the reason why is not because it is. The reason why is that usually the northern parts of the world are the coldest except for Antarctica ( of course coldest place in the world). And if you look at a map of the world Russia and Canada are northern then the UK. Mostly what are the coldest placest in the world are Canada, Russia, Sweden, Antarctica , Norway, Iceland and Greenland with Alaska are the coldest place. So there for this is why Canada and Russia are colder than the UK because it is northern and we get more colder weather than the UK. ( I know this because i am Canadian.
Colder, much colder.
Antarctica does not have any money. There are no countries on Antarctica and no permanent population. Many countries have scientific research stations on Antarctica which they spend a lot of money maintaining.
How much colder is saturn compared to earth?
45 minutes is 2,700 seconds.
Well Antarctica is all Snow and Ice, no grass, no trees, no green. Temperatures are always Low. There is very little animal life, no grazing animals at all. If you go outside in the winter without heavy clothes, you will DIE.
Being in Antarctica -- the most extreme environment on earth -- is at least bracing, and because of its cold, it feels cold. In winter, you would not feel much of anything after a few seconds unless you were warmly bundled in the numbing cold.
