Half a pound
A UK gallon also known as an imperial gallon is larger. An imperial gallon is 4.5L and a US gallon is 4L
If it' relatively fine ground copper sulfate crystals, NOT ROCKS and NOT FINE POWDER 1 cup of copper sulfate fine crystal should weigh approximately .7 US pounds. that number should be good enough to calculate copper sulfate to be used to treat a cesspool but not close enough to calculate chemical reactions. A 300 gallon cesspool requires 3 pounds of copper sulfate twice a year to keep tree roots from growing.
So far it's been about $3.899 a gallon. The current price in Seattle is $2.20 a gallon and in Wisconsin it is about $2.11 a gallon. South Carolina is close to $1.85 a gallon. Nationallt the average is proabably around $2.10 a gallon.
1 US gallon is 128 ounces.
13.5 lbs. per Imperial Gallon / 11.86 lbs per US Gallon.
(36 quarts) x ($5.96 per gallon) / (4 quarts per gallon) = $53.64
Too much copper sulphate will cause an over abundance of free copper in the water and will pose a health risk and also a risk of copper staining (black) over the pool finish. Do not swim. If staining has occurred first add 5L (1 Gallon) of Hydrochloric Acid to the average sized pool (10K Gallons). This will dissolve the copper stain and put it back into the water (maybe some brooming required). Once it is dissolved back into the water begin emptying water from the pool. How much to empty will depend on an accurate reading of what the dissolved (free) copper level is. I prefer no more than 0.2mg/L as an acceptable reading. Therefore if your reading in say 1.0 then you need to remove 80% of the pool water.
i have not found a blazer or jimmy that gets over15 mpg no matter what ya do to it.
Yes. Look for Zerex G-05. Usually about $13.50/ gallon at NAPA.
Using the conversion rate of approximately 7.4805 liquid U.S. gallons to 1 ft3 There are 13368 ft3 in 100000 liquid U.S. gallons. Using the conversion rate of approximately 6.2288 Imperial gallons to 1 ft3 There are 16054 ft3 in 100000 Imperial gallons. Using the conversion rate of approximately 6.4285 dry U.S. gallons to 1 ft3 There are 15556 ft3 in 100000 dry U.S. gallons.
83000.27 L U.S. gallons are different from imperial gallons. 1 Imperial gallon is equal to 4.54609188 litres and 1 US gallon is equal to 3.78541178 litres. Liters on the other hand are the same everywhere. One liter equals 0.26 U.S. gallon or 0.219 Imperial gallon.
Soil weighs about 2.5 times as much as water, which weighs about 8 pounds per gallon. However, one must estimate the porosity (void space) in the soil. Assuming 30% soil porosity means that one gallon of soil would weigh (0.7 x 2.5 x 8 pounds/gallon) about 14 pounds. Therefore, if full to the brim with soil (relatively dry), the drum would weigh about 770 pounds (that is, 55 gallons x 14 pounds/gallon). In reality, there is a range of possible weights, depending on soil density, moisture content, soil composition, etc.
A typical 50 gallon hot water tank contains about 3-4 pounds of copper in the form of pipes and connections. Copper is commonly used in plumbing systems due to its durability and ability to resist corrosion.
It would be wonderful if you also gave the pressure and told about friction losses
You can use a mixture of 6 tablespoons of liquid copper sulfate diluted in 1 gallon of water. You must use this during the dormant season. You don't want this mixture to get on the leaves. You should also prune the tree or shrub at this time.
The cost of sulfuric acid can vary widely depending on factors such as purity, quantity, and supplier. It is commonly priced per gallon or per ton, with industrial-grade sulfuric acid typically costing around $200-$500 per ton. Specialty grades may be more expensive.
