depends on how long you will use you laptop.
Technically, you are speaking about the delivery of current. Electricity is one type of current. The current has two differences: The current from batteries has a much lower voltage, and it is DC, while the electricity from the electrical plug is AC. Devices that use current have to be adapted to these two situations. Some devices are only battery powered, e.g. flashlight. Other devices have internal mechanisms to switch the power current between battery and electrical outlet, e.g. a laptop.
Alternating current can be sent via cables much much farther than direct current.
electric current (alternating)
current=watts(power)/voltage
5.8 amps x 120 volts = 696 watts

I am in the market for a laptop but have no internet connection where I want to use it. Can I get one with cellular data and use it without phone. Also how much for it
The RAM that is used for a laptop is not the same as the RAM that you would use in a desktop PC. The RAM that is used for a PC is much too big to be used in a laptop, so a laptop has to use a much smaller RAM card which is called SD-RAM.
It's best to use a laptop bag that is the right size for your laptop. A proper sized laptop bag can cushion and protect the laptop. A bag that is too large can allow the bag to shift around too much.
Not all do. A ground terminal is a safety feature. Yes, it is much safer when we use the laptop.
The best laptop brand depends on what you want to use the laptop for. If you are a gamer then you will need a much more pwerful laptop than one you may just use for admin or college work.
Direct current
Laptop bags and cases can be found inexpensively, or you can use another sort of bag. Also, designer laptop carriers are available for about the same price as the cost of the laptop.

As long as the laptop is plugged in already, and 'charging' the battery, yes. I often remove the battery and start charging another one while in use.

Most laptop users will never need an SD card for their laptop, it's really only much use for people wanting to transfer large files.
