Well, he met them in california in a local bar, they were playing a gig and when he went up to play, they thought he was pretty good and asked him to join them.
Yes he did. From before he was famous. A little internet researcharooney would reveal this. He also had a son from later on. Why neither of these are the owners of his estate is a sick mystery that only God knows. They sure as hell should be. Th eperson who is in control now, Janie Hendrix, is not even related to him. She is a nasty peice of scum. His heirs should have what's theirs. JIMI DOES HAVE A SON THAT I KNOW FOR SURE! Most people believe that Jimi Hendrix's last concert was the 1970 Isle of Wight Festival which took place between 26 August - 31 August. However, Hendrix's last official concert performance was on 6 September at the Isle of Fehmarn Festival in Germany, he died 12 days later on 18 September 1970 in London.

2 gig
I'll give you a couple, because I was there. A band known as Cat Mother played great rock and roll covers; Johnny B. Goode, and so on, and really set the pace for a great rock concert. Then a band called C.T.A. performed music for the ages, literally. Introduction was their first song, and I can't remember the order, but Beginnings, Does Anybody Know What Time It Is? and I'm sure, I'm A Man was on the list; have you guessed that it was Chicago, yet? They were called Chicago Transit Authority. 1969 was when you could get three bands on a bill for $6.50. Not that concerts today are any less vital, because the artists are still great. But the Jimi Hendrix Experience was a phenomenon back then. He wore a purple leather vest for the gig, with fringe, and his hair was pulled back into a pony tail. He didn't burn anything, except the air of rock and roll music.
