There's really no telling.

Watts is an instantaneous measurement, not a sustained value. You could make 1000 watts for a fraction of a second using only the tiniest amount of fuel. Or you could churn out 1000 wats for hours and hours, using Diesel by the gallons.

How do you generate 12000 watts?

You could use a 15 kW diesel generator set.

What amperage can a 2000 watt generator produce?

Use the formula I = W/E, Amps = Watts/Volts. Apply the voltage of the generator to the formula and the results will be the amount of amperage the generator will produce.

What could be the cause of overspeed in a diesel generator?

The causes of over loading in generator comes from the action of applying more load that the generator is rated for. An example using a 5000 watt generator and a connected load of 6000 watts.

Can a 120V generator run a camper's air conditioner?

Well all generators with a few exceptions produce 120 volts. What will determine if a generator will run your air conditioner is the number of watts the generator will put out. You need to learn the wattage needed by the air conditioner and also learn the max watts put out by the generator you have (Assuming you have one already) it the generator produces more watts that needed by the AC unit you are good to go. Not on the other hand if the generator you have dose not produce enough watts or you do not have one then it is a matter of buying a generator with the wattage required by the AC unit in your camper. Now if you are going to buy one I would also determine what else you would like to run from the generator (in addition to the air conditioner. Figure out the watts need by these items add them together with the watts needed by the AC unit. Then buy a generator big enough for your needs.

How many amps can a 9000 watt generator produce?

If your generator is rated at 1000 watts continuous......and you are using 120V.....available amps are 1000/120 =8.3 .

How much wattage can an AC generator produce?

depend how big you buy you can get some that produce 250 watts to ones that can run a whole hospital

What is the fuel consumption of generators?

The answer is dependent on the size of the engine powering the generator, the electrical load on the generator, and generator's capacity to produce electricity.Compare these two diesel generators:11kW Kubota operating at half load (5500 watts) uses 1.4 gallons of diesel per hour - about .25 gallons per KVA.50kW Generac Protector operating at half load (25kW) uses 2.6 gallons per hour, which is about .104 gallons per KVA.As you can see, the larger generator is operating a lot more efficiently.

How many Watts will a portable diesel generator have to produce to run a Lincoln Tig 275 Welder at full power?

Your welder needs 20A at 120V for full output. This is 2400W, but you should always add a little extra margin, so I would recommend a 3600W generator.

How many electronics can be powered by one generator?

it depends on the power production capabilities of the generator, and the power usage of the electronic applications...this power is measured in Watts, usually just W, and all the parts should have the relative information on how much Watts they use/produce

What is rating of 1500 kva diesel engine in kw?

Diesel engines are always rated in watts (or horsepower in North America), never in volt amperes which is the unit of apparent power and does not apply to non-electrical machines. However, if you are referring to a diesel-driven generator, then that generator's rated output is indeed measured in volt amperes. The power delivered, in watts, depends on the power factor of the load -e.g. if the load is purely resistive, then the number of watts will be, to all intents and purposes, numerically equal to the volt amperes. For inductive loads (e.g. a motor), then the watts will always be lower than the volt amperes -how much lower, depends on the load's power factor.

How many watts does a generator generates 75 horsepower?

About 55,970 watts.

Does your Honda 2000 generator have enough power to run the engine block heater in your stock F250 with a 6.0 diesel motor?

Check the wattage used by the block heater which should be listed on the heater. If it is 2000 watts or less then the generator will run it.
