The annual income for an OTR truck driver in the United States ranges from $41,000 per year to $144,000 per year. An owner-operator can make as much as $270,000.

OTR can stand for many things but in truck driving lingo the term "OTR" stands for Over The Road. This means that the driver hauls loads long distance.
Lots of people. Giving a hiring area would make it a lot easier to answer this question, as well as some insight as to what you're looking for (e.g., OTR expedited, dump truck, cement mixer, etc.).
The most common health issue faced by OTR truck drivers is exhaustion, caused by driving for long periods without sleep. If the driver continuously uses drugs to help them stay awake while driving, they run the risk of addiction, as well.
I'm not sure where you're located so I can't be a lot of help. Here is a site with ads looking for truck drivers: http://www.hiringtruckdrivers.com/?display=truck-driver-ads
yes. weight and ownership of the vehicle being used would bring that much in as well as more. there is distance also that enters into that equation.
Most truck drivers do not get paid hourly. They get paid by the mile. I'm not certain this is the case here though. Getting paid by the mile often depends on how much OTR (over-the-road) experience they have.
i drove otr for 6 years. now i deliver pizza full time and average more on the hour than i ever did trucking. dont work 90 hours a week anymore, thank god!
In what capacity? For an OTR truck driver, finding loads into Florida is easy enough... finding freight coming out of Florida isn't so easy, however, unless you (or your company) is willing to haul cheap freight. For local work, there are jobs.. the availability is going to depend on which part of Florida you're in, however.
Depends where you are. For OTR drivers, you MUST stop after 10 hours. But that was Ohio.
