They shed quite a bit in the summer, but in the winter they don't really shed that much. So it kind of depends on the weather.
The English toy spaniels are different then the Cavalier king Charles spaniel. I personally have a cavalier and think they are much prettier and magestic, but that's just me. The main difference between the two breeds is that the English toy spaniels has a pug like mussle. The English toy spaniel are also known as the king Charles spaniel (not too be confused with the Cavalier king Charles spaniel).Try Google that should help you to.
Cavalier King Charles Spaniels do shed. They are small dogs, so there is not a large amount, but it could be enough to cause problems for someone with allergies. A good breed, if you like the temperament of the King Charles, but do not want shedding, is a Cavapoo.
This is not a complete question, so I can not answer it.
NoThey were named after King Charles the 2ndHe loved them so much so that is why they are called Cavalier King Charles SpanielHe even wrote a law in England that Cavalier King Charles Spaniel are aloud in every public place in England that law still exists today!
Yes they shred, but not so much if you get them cut every now and then
anywhere from $600-$1200
not as much as some dogs do but there again all dogs need excercise.
She had a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. First they had another dog, I don't remember what breed, but it was larger and she could not control it on leash. Cavaliers are quite small, as spaniels go, and very friendly and cuddly, and that one was much better for an elderly couple.
Cavalier was the name used by Parliamentarians for a Royalist supporter of King Charles I during the English Civil War (1642-1651). Prince Rupert, commander of much of Charles I's cavalry, is often considered an archetypical Cavalier.[1]
Could be food allergies. ie: too much grain in food
Someone posted on here that they cost around $600..think again! A well bred AKC registered cavalier from a quality breeder will cost around $1200 up. It can go way up from there, we paid over $2,000 for our cavalier (both parents are champions, dad is the #1 dog in Canada and in the top 20 in the US) and that's considered a pretty normal price tag. Hope this helps!
Cavalier King Charles Spaniels are the best small dogs! they are so friendly! but make sure you have a fence because they like to chase bugs and forest animals, for fun though. not much of a guard dog it loves everyne it sees. it is also a lap dog so if you don't like dog hair to bad!
