Depends what company they sign up with and where this company will place the person. If the person takes benefits they will have those items deducted from their overall check. Travel nurses typically have housing, utilities and travel paid for. Agents will ask you if you want to go where the money is, or if you want to go to exotic places (or just stay at home). It is possible to make $48/hr if you live at home and skip out on some benefits. Totally depends... on company, location, and specialty.
