The Space Shuttles still in use by NASA are the Discovery, the Endeavor, and the Atlantis. Each of them is 184 feet long. Each of these space shuttles' orbiters is 122 feet long.
Around 7-12 shuttles have been to space.
NASA space shuttles
The US space shuttles were built to provide a more cost-effective and reusable way to transport astronauts and cargo to space, with the goal of making space missions more routine and accessible. They were also intended to help build and maintain the International Space Station.
Space shuttles use energy, not make it
Space shuttles are used to transport astronauts and cargo to and from space, including missions to the International Space Station. They provide a reusable and cost-effective means of reaching space compared to traditional rockets. Additionally, shuttles have been instrumental in carrying out scientific research, satellite deployment, and servicing missions in space.
Stations are built in space; Shuttles use rocket boosters.
no place, nobody has space shuttles anymore
It is not expected that the Space Shuttles will fly again.
Because if they keep making them it will just cost more money. They are actually very old technology. The money they are spending on the shuttles could be spent on a better way to get anyone into space.
The question is a little moot, since we don't have space shuttles any more.
