A puppy should eat what is on the label of what has been recommened for the dog/puppies body weight,
this is usually on the back of the dry mix or wet food.
If you are unsure of your dog's weight get him/her weighed!

∙ 14y agoThat depends on the type of puppy. Buy a good grade commercial dog food, which will tell you on the container or label how much to feed your puppy, depending on it's size. Be sure to get one that says it's nutritionally complete. The cheaper, lower grade dog foods have a lot of non-nutritional filler which does not give your dog all the nutrients or calories it needs.
