I am an semi-pro footballer who plays for Tranmere Rovers. Im not keen on saying what i get payed but am happy to share a breef overview on how it works.
In most footballers contract there will be a win bonus, apperance fee and goal bonus. when a player scores, wins or simply turns up for the game he will get an agreed amount. On top of this you get your weekly fee. An average footballer in Coca Cola league 1 gets around £1,200 a week not including apperance ect.
