I have a friend who is currently 15 years old (working in woolworths), apparently he gets $11.25. which to me is very high, considering that my other friend works in a fast food shop and shes 16 and she only gets $8.45. (i think it depends were you work and where you work and the amount of staff they have in the shop. They might have little of staff so they put alot more presure on you to do more work but obviously get paid alot more, not quite sure myself am not employed .)

but you get paid time and a half of your base payment on sundays
and double time and a half on public holidays
this hourly rate applies until you are 18 then you get paid $13 something
and when your 20 you get paid $20+
