Depends on the bitrate of your mp3 files.
On average though, you can expect it to hold around 2000 songs or 16 hours of video content.
the ipod touch (2gen.) 16g can hold 20hours
Ahh. My ipod nano has 16g but it says 15g. That is because the ipod alone has 16g, but it comes with 15g, because 1g is used for the ipod software.
My guess would be somewhere around 16GB ...
The new iPod nano 5th generation prices: 8g is $149 16g is $179 this is fairly cheap for an iPod, video camera, and FM radio. the new iPod nano also include speaker on it, but only for the video and synced music and not for the radio. the video doesn't pick up very well on quick moving things and you need a well lit room. You would think with the new video camera they would add a regular camera to it to take pictures but it doesn't. But all these things for under $200 no we should not really be complaining.
By the way this info should help. Currently I have 13GB used on my ipod that recently died on me (it was a 30 gig...probably 3rd generation classic. OLDDD.) I don't want an ipod for online or apps or any of that crap. I need an ipod SOLELY for music. I know the new ipod classics are 120G but I could never fill that, and the new nano can go up to 16G without having to spend an extra $100 dollars for it to be a touch. What kind of ipod would suit my situation the best? Touch, nano, or classic?
16g Ipod Touchs cost about 300 dollars if you went to a store but, if you buy online be prepared to spen 50 ar 60 dollars more. If you want an engraving, you will spend another 50 dollars so they are pretty expensive. I hope this helped!
They don't make a 4th gen 16gb. They haven't made a 16gb since the second generation.
There is a built-in Wi-Fi receiver in all iPod Touch generations and capacities.
How many song can you put on a 16 gb ipod touch
On the 8g model it is 36 months and on the 16g ipod it's only a year.
It can hold about 3,000 - 4,000 songs in 128 Kbps AAC format.
It all depends on how many gigabytes your ipod has. The touch is sold in 8G, 16G, 32G, and 64G ipod was just released. If you are looking to have a lot of movies on your ipod you will want to buy an ipod with more memory because movies are usually one to two gigs themselves. I have a 32G and i have tons of apps, 4 movies, 15 TV shows, 320 songs and still have about 12G left on my ipod, hopefully that gives a good idea on how much an ipod can hold.
