Once again the area they practice in determines the amount a lawyer or anyone may command for their work. In a large metropolitan area a public defender may receive a salary of over 100,000.00 dollars a year but in rural areas it can range from 45,000.00 to 85,000.00. Private pay attorney's set their fees based upon the complexities of the case and no case would be the same so it would not be possible to predict a salary in this type of representation.

first you start out as a law clerk making 30,000- 60,000 a year while you are a recent graduate.. then a junior lawyer making 50,000- 180,000 a year once you get a passing grade on the bar exam and admission to the state bar association .... then a senior lawyer once you have 4 to 5 years experience as a junior lawyer making 90,000 to 200,000. HOPE THIS HELPED :D
