Well I have a male dogue aged 3. He has 2 and a half cups of mixer with a tin of canned food, plus any extra left over food as a treat. But if you are unsure you should ask tour local vet or a breeder.
I hope this helps, Cho-mo :)
We have tried a whole range of dog foods, and they always had skin problems, tremendous eye discharge and the like. When one came down with cancer (at 4) we researched and found that a raw diet is the best. Within 4 days, eye discharge ceased and itchy skin cleared up with fur back in just a couple weeks. Dogs are frequently allergic to the grains (especially wheat) in commercial dog food. Not to mention all the dyes and fillers. Give them what God intended. Their bodies are made to digest raw food. When it is not allowed to do as it was made to do, you may find more autoimmune disorders. Also dogs fed raw diets do not need dental care. Chicken and other bones are not dangerous to dogs unless cooked, then it splinters. There are more incidents of dogs choking on kibble than on raw bones.
Unfortunately many vets are "indoctrinated" into believing man can do things better than nature. My vet admits she has seen raw diets cure certain cancers and Diabetes in dogs, but I have heard of some who are dead set against it.
Well you want to feed him/her a healthy dog food, which means no corn starch or corn meal or what ever- corn is a fatting filler; not healthy for your dog. You should feed him/her once, MAYBE twice a day; after a while you should cut out one portion of his/her food- do it again, maybe twice. And you also should exercise your pet. Take him/her for a walk twice a day- someone in your house hold should be able to follow these steps, if not, I'm sorry, your dog won't get a healthy diet. Oh and maybe it's a good idea to stop giving your dog extras, you know, like scraps, treats and so on, but that's optional... I kind of recommend doing so. When I tryed these steps or this rutine, my dog lost some wait, he became healthier, stonger too! Hope my Rutine does good for you! Oh and good luck!

Dogue de Bordeaux
As a large breed, the Dogue de Bordeaux has a relatively short lifespan of between 8 and 12 years, although they can live longer if well cared for.
6-10 years
The Dogue De Bordeaux can be good with children if they are raised with children. They can be possessive of a certain child and may attack any potential threats- this can lead to the dog mistakenly biting someone. If you have children and plan to get get a Dogue De Bordeaux than you'll want to be sure you're capable of training him/her to not be possessive/aggressive towards children.
Bordeaux
I met one and it more or less had the build of a doberman but slightly heavier. It was uniformly dogue coloured.
