Although the pay is minimal for a white-collar job, the value of such a job in Enterprise's case seems to be training and experience. It's a great entry-level job for college grads or people with no white-collar job experience. The company will train you, and that experience is very valuable when you move on to bigger and better things (whether at Enterprise or somewhere else).

Enterprise likes to promote from within, so if you work hard and you're good at your job, you can be promoted to higher levels of responsibility, even become a branch manager (or even higher).
