The fine for driving on a suspended license in Virginia is very stiff. This is a Class 1 misdemeanor in Virginia. Many judges will set the fine at several hundred dollars, but it can be as high as $2,500.00. It can also require jail time, especially if it is a second offense, and a third offense is automatic jail time.
Why would you ask that? Two options here:
a) You have the ticket, and you know how much it is, or
b) You are planning on driving on a suspended license
Most likely B. It costs you a couple hundred, maybe a little over a thousand, and extending your suspension by 2-3 years. I suggest you don't.
My husband got a speeding ticket in VA several years back and it was over $6,000. We had to hire an attorney, which also cost a lot of money, to represent him and handle this ridiculous amount that was being charged. We ate from Alabama and he was on his way home from visitin friends and family in CT. It happened right before he crossed the state line. In VA they have speed traps set up along all state lines where the speed limit changes quite a few times, and not well marked, as you get closer to the state line boarders. Be very careful when traveling through VA. Their ticket costs are unbelievably high.
the fine for speeding in Virginia is $5.00 per mph over the posted limit, plus a processing fee of up to $65.00
Depending on the state, $100 minimum. Surchargeable offense, will increase your insurance premiums.
That would depend on who gave you the ticket (where you got it), and how fast you were going.
It varies a bit depending on what county you are in. In Santa Barbara, for example, it is an $1,100 fine, and possible jail and probation depending on the circumstances.
three points.
if you have missed your court date and are caught driving on a suspended license they will arrest you. My fiancee had a suspended license and was paid up on his insurance and tags and everything but missed his court date and went to jail.
it depends on what the ticket was for, if it was for a speeding ticket that was five miles over the speed limit then no. if you had a reckless driving then yes
At trial, you can offer as a defense the issuance of the new license three months after the suspension. That may serve to show your belief that your license was valid at the time of the first suspended license violation. The second suspended license charge will be tougher to fight, as you had to know from the first ticket that your license was suspended.
Your license will be suspended until you pay the ticket. Once you do that, the court will clear the ticket and reinstate your license with the DMV.
Most likely it will.
It all depends on whether its your car or not
yes
you handle it by punching the cop and then driving away
you will get a ticket and probably get your license suspended for longer and insurance will probably not cover the accident b/c you were driving with a suspended license but of course this is just one scenario

Yes, your license can be suspended and usually is when you receive a ticket for no Insurance. The fact youwere driving without insurance has no bearing on whether you have a car or not.
Yes, in the state of Wisconsin a license can be suspended for not paying a traffic ticket.

yes but you have to prove residense for that state and the liscens you get will be good in Tennessee if you get caught driving in the state that you were suppended in even if you have a liscens for another state you will get a ticket for driving suspended because your driving privilages are suspended for that state
Most likely it will.
