The answer to this question will depend where in Texas the ticket was received. Fees for tickets vary from county to county and even city to city. Check with the local municipality traffic court or collector for details.

it will cost around $190. However, if you're eligible to take the defensive driving course (if you haven't in the last 12 months) it's reduced to about $100.
According to the Harris County fine schedule, you will have to pay $160 for 15mph over the speed limit.

It just depends on how fast you were going and where you were when you were speeding. It could be a couple hundred dollars or it could be over a thousand dollars if you were speeding through a school zone where kids are.
How much will i have to pay for a speeding ticket going 82mph on 65mph zone in LA County?
It depends on the municipal/JP court with jurisdiction on the place of the interstate you were ticketed. I actually just received a ticket with that exact scenario last month: 79 in a 65 on an interstate. I was cited by Texas DPS and the fine was $252.
Hmmm, I have paid $118 for doing 62 in a 55.in cal. As for speeding in a construction zone it is about the worst ticket a person could get .
About $330.00 to $350.00. depending on past records and tickets.

Likely the only way to have a speeding ticket removed from a record is to ask a judge to relieve it. This is a very unlikely situation, however. The judge would have to have a good reason for doing it.
