What is the average Australian Shepherd cost?

we paid $800 for ours. we got a male and a female-price was the same. some breeders charge less if you are going to have them for just pets, and if you want them for breeding purposes they charge more. I have seen them for up to $1200 which I think is too much. find a reputable breeder and compare.

In the US, Australian Shepherds would cost around $500. International wise, I don't know. If you live somewhere other than the US, check with your local shelter / pet store to see how much they cost.

An Australian shepherd costs between $300-$7000. They are very expensive dogs because they are known to herd animals so they Are useful to people with animals such as sheep and horses. I own a Australian Shepherd and she is the sweetest thing and she loves to herd around our Geese and Goats.You should get one they are sometimes annoying but very sheet :D
