My skin is having mild reactions, my hair is falling out, and my blood counts are low, especially my hemoglobin counts, which leaves me weak, tired and out of breath.

If you feel you can be there 100% for them then you should be. Many Chemo patients are amazing and take their treatments with few complaints.
