You can pick up a head gasket for around $50US for most 4-cylinder engines. You should always replace the head bolts (they stretch when they are torqued) so figure another $50. Add $10 for the valve cover gasket.
If that is all you replace you'll be kicking yourself for not getting the head milled and replacing the belts and hoses. An oil and coolant change and new plugs wouldn't be a bad idea, either...what kind of shape is that serpentine belt in? Since the head's off and getting milled, you ought to re-do the valves, guides, seats and seals.
