I need to know how much will a throttle sensor cost to fix a kia optima
It just cost me $220.00
please elaborate a little more. you talking an 02 sensor? a knock sensor? a M.A.P. sensor??
$325 on a 2005 suburban at my mechanics garage.
you have to have the computer reprogrammed to get rid of the speed sensor or governor as you call it. just buy a hypertech programmer and you can fix it. they cost 300.00
You're probably talking about the input speed sensor and/or the output speed sensor (if your model has one). They are about $20-$30 a piece, it's a cheap fix.
MAF sensor is the Mass air flow sensor...with out it your engine doesnt think its getting enough air ..causing rough idle...no acceleration etc.. the average cost of the sensor is $156.00
Probably the speed sensor on the transmission.
did you check the speed sensor on the side of the transmission?
Speed sensors generally are not serviceable. The sensor needs to be replaced. It should be an easy change out, either bolted on or screwed in.
it could be the speed sensor or bad cluster. the speed sensor is around $100 at your local parts store.
their are two different speed sensors on that car the input speed sensor which is located inside the transmission and the transmission needs to be removed in order to replace it and the other speed sensor is the output speed sensor which is located directly above the passenger side trans-axle shaft. your input sensor is the sensor which tells the transmission when to shift and the output speed sensor tells the speedometer what it should display and both those parts are fairly cheap they are around 15-25 dollars but just remember if your input speed sensor is bad it is gonna cost you a minimum of 1000 dollars to have a mechanic fix it because of the fact that the transmission needs to be removed.
