The horny one
France. It was originally a hunting horn, and is now one of the coolest brass instruments in the modern concert band. The French horn as we know it today comes from Germany. The french designation is only used in the english language, probably for the same reason french fries arent called geman fries (they came from germany)... and of course the ENGLISH horn is actually french....

NO! You should never quit playing the French Horn. Although it is one of the world's hardest instruments to play, it is also the most beautiful sounding instrument.
It depends on your point of view but I'd say French Horn, if you want one of your own these are the best makes, Yamaha, Paxman and Alexander, I'm a trombonist but my friend plays French Horn and told me the best brands, good luck playing it!
French horn is one of the most unique brass instruments. It is very different from say a tuba or a trumpet. An experienced horn player usually has a very mellow and soft sound which is not likely in other brass instruments. You should know this but the french horn has the horn facing behind you so if you're playing in like a school band, the people behind are going to complain a lot. It is very hard to blast on a french horn or play very loud, but not impossible.
You should check out your local music store.
