Sulfur is a non-metal but in its native form it is a yellow crystalline solid. I can be made into a powder as it used for things such as gun powder.
The mass of a bullet is nowhere near the mass of a gun. A bullet weighs at most a few hundred grains. Most guns weigh at least a couple of pounds, some weigh several pounds (talking about handguns and rifles).
Cannonballs have varying weights. Some are as light as 3 pounds while others weigh up to 110 pounds. Each round size is suited to a particular use and requires a gun of a certain bore size to fire it.
None. Bullets generally do not contain gun powder. You may be thinking of a cartridge. Bullets are just chunks of metal.
A 6mm BB gun pellet will weigh about 0.20g ----
Depends on the size of the barrel.
To do what?
20 lbs ofsmokelesspowder and up to 1 lb of black powder. Check your local laws!
Depends on which powder, and which loading of the 9mm.
The only way to be certain is to remove the bullet with a bullet puller, empty out the powder, and weigh it.
Gun powder was originally a combination of ground saltpeter, ground charcoal and ground sulfur. the original gun powder had problems. one it gumed up your gun, two it produced too much smoke. we now use a much more usefull and smokeless powder i forget the name though...
Whatever the reloading manual has in it.
It all depends on how much you want to purchase and where you buy it.
Black Powder.
Gun powder is always a mixture.
A tiny bit less than a maxi gun.
Gun powder can be used as a propellant rather than powdered sugar and KNO3 depending on the application. Both are explosive, however gun powder is designed to ignite at much higher speeds.
