Dillard's associates in Arizona make around $10 per hour base wage. They have monthly reviews, and their wage goes up or down largely depending upon whether they have made their sales quota for each week. Usually they get either a raise of 10% or a reduction of 10%. Really good employees can consistently make a little higher wage, but almost everybody has a down month once in a while. In the recession of 2009, most employees found it difficult to make the quotas, as they were not adjusted downward as much as the recession adjusted the overall sales downward. No complaints here; just facts to let you know how it works. A benefits package is extended to employees (worth very roughly $3/hour on top of the wage), including the following: All employees: Employee discount 25% after 30 days, including sales and closeouts, except in some departments (housewares, I think), the discount is reduced to 12.5% because of the smaller profit margins. Dental/vision insurance after 6 months. Accident insurance immediately. Holiday working pay (1.5 times your normal pay if you work on a holiday). Part-time employees (Average of 20 hours per week or greater for the entire previous quarter): Retirement plan (matching up to 5% of pay begins at 0% and gets higher with time). Credit union. Birthday pay. You choose the day you want to celebrate, and get a paid day off that day. Holiday pay, after 6 months (your average weekly wage / 5, added to your paycheck whether you work that day or not, plus 1.5 times your wage for hours you work, as listed above). Sick pay after 6 months. Vacation pay, after 6 months. Jury duty pay. Bereavance pay. Baby delivery pay. Child care benefit. Term life insurance after 6 months (paycheck deduction). Short-term disability insurance after 6 months (paycheck deduction). Limited health care plans (after 3 months). For full-time employees: Full health insurance after 6 months, Dillards pays around $1.50 per hour worked towards this insurance (extra pay!), and you pay the rest with auto-deduction.

$48,000 sometime higher depending on how long you have been with company and what volume of store you have. It not very likely you will start out as operations manager in a high volume of store.
