The sexual harassment can severely affect the emotional and mental state of the victim. Oftentimes, the victim feels compelled to leave the environment. This leads to other problems including financial problems. All organizations should offer a confidential environment that is supportive of victims of sexual harassment. This will encourage more victims to speak out and not allow the abuse to continue.
