In the summer of 2006, Guinness World Records certified Thumbelina as the world's smallest living horse. In fact, at 17 ½ inches tall, she is the smallest horse on record, she weighed ust 8 ½ pounds and was 10 inches tall at birth!

But now, Thumbelina weighs 57 pounds. That is not very heavy for a horse. Other miniature horses can weigh between 175 and 225 pounds. A regular sized horse can weigh 1000 pounds.
