I would say on average about 3-4k..this is just his fee...not including hospital charges, assistant fees, surgery/equipment/sterilizing charges, medicine, office visits, bandages etc... I think the total average CTS surgery is about 8k.

∙ 14y agoOkay...if you are talking about just cost, I think the average is about 7-9k. That's not talking about insurance or deductibles or what have you. You have to remember that you have a hospital charge for operating room and equipment, sterilizing things, throw away things, other medical staff, surgeon's fee, medicine etc....
In Australia you can have it done under medical insurance and then there is some cost to the patient However if you are willing to wait for the operation or have no choice it is done for nothing under the medicare scheme.
