Notice the above answer was from someone who sold the car after attempting to repair the blown gasket with a sealer. The only way to permanently repair a blown head gasket is to replace it. Using any of a number of sealers sold today is nothing more than a temporary repair and is not permanent no matter what anyone tells you. This is especially true if the head is cracked or warped.

You can change the head gasket by removing the valve cover. Remove the gasket and clean the gasket surface. Put the new head gasket on the cleaned surface.
