if the truck is a v6 engine it would be 1.5lbs to 1.75lbs if is a 4 cyl a little less
Should take aprox 30 ounces of freon.
r134a.
Yes.
1.75 pounds or 28 oz
It came from the factory charged with R12 Freon. As this refrigerant is extremely expensive and hard to find, I suggest you convert it over to R134 Refrigerant.
The low pressure AC service port can be found on the side of the accumulator/receiver dryer.
1.8 pounds
An S10 is the same as a Chevy S10.
It should be on the left side under the hood next to the coolant tank, you see a placed marked for freon. Be careful though A/C units run on pressure if you put to much in it could be a mistake.
Bleed off some freon until you have the right numbers. This should be done by a qualified ac mechanic with equipment to reclaim the freon.
1997 s10 4.3 Chevy blazer. what inlet does the freon go in. the one on the aluminum tank where the hose from the compressor goes into it?
Do you mean a drain for the freon? If so, there is no drain. It needs to be evacuated and stored in a holding tank by law.
