Standard load is roughly 400 punds or 60 gallons
T.C.'s helicopter is a Hughes 500. Sometimes it is portrayed by a C model 500 and sometimes by a D model. The Hughes 500 is also known as the MD500 as ownership of the manufacturer changed hands.
You need to be more specific. Fuel costs vary as do the size of the tanks on a helicopter.
no its too slow It depends on how much fuel you have. ; )
The key isn't really whats required. You can have the key and still not be able to turn it on. It's not like a car. You need to understand what type of chopper you are flying ie gas turbine or flat engine. Starting a gas turbine helicopter like the MD500 requires many further steps to ignite and turn on the engine.
helicopters take alot of fuel because they are very heavy and they have to do alot of work just to stay in one place
Anything from 20 to 600 gallons depending on helicopter.
A commercial helicopter can hold up to 200 gallons of fuel. How much it needs to run depends on how far the trip is and depends on how much weight it is carrying in passengers, luggage/freight, plus pilot / co-pilot.
The best helicopter for what purpose? If you want to take 11 infantry soldiers into combat and support them during the fight, the Hind is a good helicopter. If you want to dry cherry trees, it's too big, takes too much fuel and costs too much.
yes there are helicopters which can dump fuel. the most basic helicopter allouette ( the french single engine helicopter) has a capability of jettisoning fuel at the rate of 130 lts per hr.
The Apache Longbow can carry about 315 imperial gallons of fuel. Later models can carry up to 4 underwing tanks of 230 gal each.
Anywhere between 25 to 26.5 litres of diesel mixed with coconut oil.my husband is a manager in a helicopter company & his name is amjad isathullah& we stay in khan mohalla.
Some need aviation petrol and some need jet fuel.
