A turbo doesn't burn fuel, and you seem to have an incorrect notion of what a turbo does. A turbo forces more air into the cylinders.
make sure you have not blow your turbo. If you did not blow the turbo you might have put a hole into the intercooler. This will cause you to use a ton of gas
You need to use premium fuel
I have the same car and I recently discovered Premium Unleaded gas is what I am supposed to use. It says it on the inside of the flap where you put the gas in.
Its called turbo lag it will happen with any stock turbo and not so much but a little bit on aftermarket.
Depends on the engine, just like a gas engine, they all vary.
Depends on the set up. Is it a Naturally aspirated or turbo, or turbo with an aftercooler? And is it a Direct injection model, or a Natural Gas generator engine? In general the 3306 has as little as 95HP ( Nat Gas Gen Set), or as much as 350 ( Direct injection Turbo aftercooled).
no.
Yes it will make your life much easier to have the turbo ecu and harness. The turbo injectors have a resistor pack that the non-turbo engines do not use. So that would have to be manually wired in to use stock turbo injectors and ecu.
Only gas engines use blow off valves.
What does your owner's manual say? If it says premium, then the answer is YES.
Yes.
i use 7 quarts
