It has a check screw on the right side of the engine...forward of the clutch cover. Its easy to spot because it has a copper washer. Remove the 8mm bolt and fill the crank case till oil comes out of the bolt hole...then you know your good.
There is no oil in the crank case,,you use mixed gas and oil that's what lubes the crank bearings and piston rings.
It is on the crank case cover. Basically on the top of the motor.
obviously not, one is like 45 cc bigger, they have a different crank case with a different bolt pattern

The starter is just behind the rear cylinder on the top of the crank case. Hope this helps.

To check most transmissions on Honda motor cycles you check engine oil. They have a liquid clutch that are in the crank case oil.
On crank case - on left side of lowest part of engine.Should be something like GL400E-1234567
The oil crank case should hold a little more than 3.5 quarts of motorcycle oil.
on top of the crank case towards the outside , it vents into the carb by vacume.
