There is no gold at all in the "golden" presidential dollar coins. In fact, there is no precious metal of any kind in any of the coins our government passes off to us as money these days. The last real money issued by our government was in 1964. The coins from 1964 and before contained an amount of silver equal to the face value of the coin. Interestingly, you can still purchase as much today with a real silver dime, quarter, or half dollar as you could in 1964. The fake money we have been duped into accepting today is actually worth nothing more than what the government says it is worth. Try this: melt down 4 1964 or earlier quarters and 4 1965 or later quarters and take the molten blobs to a jeweler or coin dealer. The melted silver will be worth about twelve dollars. The melted base metal from the fake money will be worth absolutely ZERO, which is the true value of today's metal and paper money.
None of the one dollar coins that are "Golden Colored" contain any gold - they're made of brass.

None. No US coin minted for circulation contains any gold. The "gold" dollar coins you see in circulation are brass and contain no gold. The US makes gold bullion coins for collectors, but the gold content is clearly marked on most. If you have a question about a specific commemorative or year, post a new question including the commemorative and year.
Please look at the coin again and post new question. No U.S. gold coins were made after 1933.

The new presidential gold dollar coins are not made of Gold so they are only worth one dollar. The mint has made so many errors on the edge of the coins that it does not increase the value of the coin more than one dollar.
Please post new question with the coins denomination and a complete description. No Hawaiian gold coins exist.
