there is gold inside of about pretty much everything on earth,,,in tiny particles that are not easy to collect,,,even in us humans there is gold found in nano particles,,,hmmm,,, a tv will have little gold,,,more silver than gold,,,,considering silver is soldered on the circuit board of the tv,,,there might be some small areas where gold is used,,,like for the frequency tuner and at the base of the tube maybe. However ,,,there is much gold to be found on computer boards,,and cpu chips and ram memory chips,,,,and component with gold colored connectors is definately gold plated,,,but some are plated more generously than others,,,the older the thicker the plating.
