Italian lires do not exist any more they have been replaced by the euro in 2002
There was 620 italian lire to 1 US dollar in 1963
Google will answer this question for you if you define "lire" well enough (using the proper ISO currency code): "200 in USD". If it's Italian Lira (ITL), then that currency is obsolete, but it's worth roughly 11 cents. If it's Turkish Lira (TRY), then about 56 dollars ... unless you have an old (pre-2005) coin, in which case it's worth effectively nothing, except possibly to a collector (much, much less than a penny; the currency was re-valuated in 2005 at the rate of a million 2004 Lira per 1 2005 Lira).Other currencies have used the name lire/lira or close variants of that, but without knowing which specific country you mean it's impossible to answer the question.
i just looked on yahoo answers and they said 2000 lira equals 1 U.S dollar -Hope this helps-

In 1960, the exchange rate of Italian lire to US dollar was approximately 620 lire to 1 USD.
In 2021, 100 Italian lire from 1950 would be equivalent to less than 1 US cent. The Italian lira was replaced by the euro in 2002, and due to inflation and the currency conversion rate, the value of the lire has significantly decreased.
'Lira' was the past currency before Euro. 'Lire' is the plural form of it: 1 Lira, 2 Lire. Lira in Italian is also a musical instrument.
As of 2021, the Italian lira (lire) is no longer in use as Italy now uses the euro. If you meant 10,000 Italian lire, it would be equivalent to a very small amount in Philippine pesos.
When Euro comes in Italy, the conversion rate was of 1936,27 lire for 1 euro. Then 53 Lire (quite impossible to have it, because 50 lire was the smallest coin available) are 0,027 cent. of euro.
Italian Lira got replaced on 1st January 2002 by the Euro, it is now obsolete. Roughly 1 EUR = 1,936 ITL
