The Karat system is used to measure the concentration of gold in alloys. One karat is essentially one twenty-fourth pure gold. Using that math, if we divide 26.7 by 24 (total weight by karats) we get an answer of 1.1125 which is the weight per karat, we multiply that by the amount of karats, 14, and we get 15.575 grams of pure gold if you were to separate it out.

This does not account for troy ounces or anything like that.
