probably.. there are 1000MB in 1GB... or in 0.0001GB in 1MB.

How many of these am I going to have to correct? Your answer is ONLY true when speaking in the terms of how a HDD Manufacturer defines a Gigabyte, not the guys who invented the computer.

1,000 Mb is technically .976 Gb's

1,024 Mb is technically 1.0 Gb

The TRUE size of Kb's, Mb's, Gb's, Tb's so on and so forth are set not by what a person wants it to be, but actually by how the Operating system perceives it.

Operating systems perceive 1 Gb as 1,024 mb's.

So if you have a drive that is rated as 1 Gb, go ahead and try to put a gigabyte of information on it.... you will get ERROR ERROR ERROR ERROR when trying to open the file because it is all not there.

Technically an 80 Gb HDD would be 81,920 Mb's instead of 80,000... but WD, Hitachi, Toshiba and what not market 80,000 Mb's as 80 Gb's when it is really 78.125 Gb's.
